So I am not a gold medalist - also I am not disappointed by this because my knitting skills have improved - and I know that it not if you win or lose it is how you play the game! I now can knit lace patterns in between calls at work - this is a great accomplishment in my world! I overcame stumbling block I had and I am a better knitter for it - pictures of the finished scarf will be posted soon as well as the cast on for my Sockapalooza Socks!

Its not the medal but how you get there :) I didn't finish either, but learned a lot, not only about knitting but myself as a knitter. Congrats on learning something new!
I too, DNF, and learned that I hate knitting one project at a time. I could never be one of those people ;) Cannot wait to see your scarf and socks to be! :)
